Borzalino Ayton Pouf

The Ayton pouf brings the same mix of past and present, tradition and contemporary design, to the Ayton seating system in a compact form. Firm lines in the support sit against softer upholstery, with smooth surfaces, soft fabrics, fine feathers and refined yarns adding further contrast. Its frame takes inspiration from the Nordic geometry of the 1950s, then gives way to the more relaxed comfort of the seat. Raised lightly from the floor, the horizontal structure wraps around the upholstery almost like a shell around a softer centre. Because it belongs to Ayton’s modular system of seating and shelves, the pouf can adapt easily to both residential and public spaces.
